Allstate Set #9620
Offered through Sears under the Allstate brand, the Marx 9620 is an O-gauge diesel freight set from the late 1950s. The set features a New Haven No. 2002 diesel locomotive and matching dummy B-unit in the striking black, gray, and red New Haven paint scheme. Freight equipment includes a New York Central boxcar, Allstate Rocket Fuel tank car, New Haven caboose, and the popular U.S. Air Force rocket-launching car with operating missile launcher. The set was packaged with a 50 Watt Marx transformer, remote-control track, and O-27 track on road bed.
